This week, I want to focus on American Dream, maybe some of you remember that we learned about this topic by Mr. Minato, in American Culture’s class. The American Dream refers to a shared set of ideals that guide the spirit of the United States. These shared ideals include a notion of freedom that ensures all American the possibility of upward social mobility, as long as they work for it. Every character in The Great Gatsby inspiration from the American dream’s promise of wealth and prosperity. At the same time, the novel itself critiques the notion of the American Dream. readers may end the novel wondering if the American dream is actually attainable at all. Gatsby suffers the most from the promise of social mobility inherent to American Dream. He spends his life believing that if he makes enough money and acquires enough procession. This is one example of the reflection of American Dream in this story, we can find this kinds of part! (193 words)       ...

The Winter's Tale 4

This week, I’ll introduce the happy end of this story. The last scene we can see some happy ends. 1 By using time magic and music, Paulina made Hermionie wake up from stone. Leontes were very surprised but he felt supreme happiness. Hermionie accepted his apologies and they had a big cuddle for the first time in 16 years. For Pardita, this was first time for her to meet her mother. To see Pardita is overcoming with emotion, her mother came closer and gently said “please tell me about your past life” this is one of my favorite scenes. 2 Leontes removed Polixenes’s misunderstanding and they became friends again.  3 Polixenes accepted Perdita and Florizel’s marriage When Polixenes found his son Florizel is dating with the Perdita, the girl brought up by a Sheperd, he blamed them bitterly. The Winter's Tale 2

This week, the set of this story moved to Bohemia after Camilo and Polixenes’ escape. In this country, a lot of fantastic characters. Like Autrycus or Shepherd or merry girls and boys.I introduce my best three in the story!!! 1 Partita The daughter of Leontes and Hermioni. Because her father believes her to be illegitimate, she is abandoned as a baby on the coast of Bohemia. And brought up by Shepherd. Unaware of her loyal lineage. She falls in love with the Bohemia Prince Florizel. 2 Frorizel Policies’s only son and heir. He falls in love with Perdita. Unaware of her loyal ancestry and defies his father by eloping with her. 3 Paulina (from Sicily) A Nobel’s woman of Sicily. She is fierce her defense of Hermione’s virtue and unrelenting in her condemnation of Leontes after Hermione’s death. She is also the agent of the apparently dead Queen’s resurrection. If I were a member of this year’s Shakespeare Production, I want to play Pardita! She is one o...

He was driven by jealousy and forced his loyal vassal Camilo to murder Polixenes by poisoning. However, Camilo said the truth to Polixenes and escape from Bohemia together. To know their escape, Leontes‘s rage became bigger and bigger. He locked her wife in imprisonment and he ordered to throw the new girl (Perdita)away at the wilderness. In the end, Hermione dead because of the shock and own miserable disgrace. Piling up of traged...
